The Nanomedicine Academy now offers two degree programs at Northeastern University.

We launched the first of its kind Master of Science in Nanomedicine graduate degree program in 2023. The exponential rise in nanomedicine innovation has resulted in high demand and competitive salaries for nanomedicine-related occupations. Designed for scientists, engineers, and clinicians working in or seeking nanomedicine-related careers, Northeastern University’s Master of Science in Nanomedicine is an interdisciplinary, industry-aligned professional degree that provides experience-based learning in nanomedicine research, innovation, and commercialization. The Professional MS in Nanomedicine is an innovative, non-thesis graduate degree program consists of Six core courses with concentrations in Nanoformulation research, Translation & Commercialization, Vaccine development, a year-round National Nanomedicine Seminar series and a summer co-op experience.

Graduate Certificate in Nanomedicine

Northeastern University is proud to host one of the world’s first Certificates in Nanomedicine! This part-time, 12-credit graduate program can be completed in as little as 2 semesters!  Current Northeastern students can stack this degree with existing M.S. and Ph.D. programs and may be eligible to receive elective credit towards both degrees for all Nanomedicine courses completed.
